For many reasons people abuse, and may become addicted to, alcohol and/or other drugs. When this occurs, an individual’s quality of life, significant relationships and employment all decline.Therapy can assist the user to gain the tools to maintain abstinence and achieve recovery. Therapy can also assist family and friends in their recovery from codependence. Thus, everyone’s quality of life improves.

In therapy you will learn:

  • to distinguish between social use, substance abuse and addiction;
  • the difference between abstinence and recovery;
  • about the various pathways to recovery.
